Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-04-14
Linden (“we”, “us”) is operated from Copenhagen, Denmark. We take your privacy seriously and handle all personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have.
What we collect
When you use Linden we collect the wedding details you provide (names, city, date, guest count, budget, priorities, and cultural overlays), your email and authentication credentials, and any vendor quotes or payments you choose to log. If you purchase Linden Pro we receive payment metadata from Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
Your wedding data is used solely to generate your personalised budget, power the AI copilot when you ask it a question, and sync across your devices and partner. We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.
Data processors
We rely on the following processors to run Linden. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and operates under GDPR-compliant terms:
- Supabase — database and authentication (EU region)
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional emails
- Anthropic — AI copilot (no training on your data)
- PostHog — product analytics (EU-hosted, opt-in only)
- Vercel — application hosting
Cookies
We distinguish between two kinds of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies — authentication (Supabase), locale, region, and your consent choice itself — are always set because the service cannot function without them. Analytics and marketing cookies(PostHog, Google Analytics, Google Ads) only set after you opt in via the cookie banner. You can change your choice any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or by withdrawing consent inside the app.
Product analytics for signed-in users
When you are signed in, we record key product events — signup, onboarding completion, budget generation, vendor booking, AI copilot usage, purchase, and similar — on our own servers, keyed by your Linden account ID. This processing takes place under GDPR Art 6(1)(f) legitimate interest: we need to understand how the product is used to operate, secure, and improve the service you signed up for. No device storage is involved on our side for these events, the data is never used for advertising, and we never sell it. You can opt out at any time from /app/settings; opting out stops all server-side product analytics for your account going forward.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@wedwise.app and we will respond within 30 days.
Retention
We keep your wedding data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated wedding data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain records (e.g. payment receipts for tax purposes).
